The International Swiss Talent Forum 2026

African Professionals for Progress Bridges the Gap for Tanzanian Talent at the International Swiss Talent Forum organised by the Schweizer Jungend Forscht Foundation

In a strategic partnership with Schweizer Jugend Forscht (SJF) and the Village Africain de Genève (VAG), African Professionals for Progress (APP) played a vital role in empowering Selemani, a talented university student from Dar es Salaam, during his participation in the International Swiss Talent Forum (ISTF). As one of the only two African representatives among 70 global scientists in Murten, Selemani brought essential perspectives and innovative solutions to the international stage. APP extended this impact by hosting Selemani in Zurich for an additional day of professional discovery, ensuring his Swiss experience reached its full potential. This initiative highlights the commitment of African Professionals for Progress to creating concrete opportunities and building sustainable bridges for the continent's youth. By moving beyond symbolic diversity, the organization ensures that African talent is not just present, but actively enriching global scientific and professional exchanges. Looking ahead, this collaborative model will continue to expand, with plans to spotlight a different African nation each year and provide a long-term platform for the next generation of leaders to thrive internationally.
